Best Bars in Manila

This isn't my list, but a writer (Igan D'Bayan) from the Philippine Star newspaper from his article on July 17th. So I review and check this wonderful and must visit  bar in Manila

70's Bistro

One of the longest-standing establishment of a bar in Manila(since 1992), the bar sits, fed, watered and entertained many for two decades. Although the interiors acquired the patina of age, continuous patronage of our customers and artists confirmed his reputation as one of the most established places to live performances in the city that even its undeniable contribution to OPM history, Parokya Ni Edgar, The Jerks, Callalily, Itchyworms, Rivermaya, Noel Cabangon, Johnoy and Kako, POT, and it goes on.

70's Bistro is a type of a rock bar where you will see top OPM band. I recommend this place to people that want  rock music and ready to be wild in the crowd.

So if you want to feel the "Wild and Free" feeling go to this bar. It is located in 46 Anonas Street, Project 2, Quezon City 1102, Anonas, Quezon City.

Conway's Makati Shangrila

Conway’s at the luxurious Makati Shangri La has long been one of the most popular bars in the upmarket Manila  financial and entertainment district of Makati. The combination of a stylish, contemporary bar, with nightly live entertainment, has proven a successful formula, and nightly Conway’s attracts a good mixture of both local and foreign guests.

For the after-work crowd- a seat at the striking bar is the ideal spot to enjoy a few of the signature cocktails of Conway’s, and some of the delicious bar snacks. Generous “Happy Hour” promotions make this an even more compelling choice. For those arriving later in the evening, the live bands every night create the party atmosphere until the early hours of the morning. There is also the option for dining outdoors on the covered terrace, where meals and drinks can be enjoyed in comfort whilst taking in the bustle of the busy Makati streets just below.

Overall this place is so luxurious, You feel like a celebrity  if you go to these place.  It is just simply perfect for me.   I also  recommend this place to all cocktail lover  because they serve there own cocktail creations,&nbsp with some very enticing concoctions to tempt the cocktail aficionados.

Penguin Cafe

Originally located in Malate, Penguin Cafe was established in the early 80s and was situated at the corner of San Andres and Adriatico Streets. It moved to the corner of Remedios Circle and Bocobo Street some time after, where it remained for over two decades. Today, it has relocated to Makati. Despite all the moving, Penguin remains one of the longest-standing music and art bars in Metro Manila, losing none of that true Bohemian vibe it is so famous for; the 2009 Lonely Planet Philippines guidebook cited the bar as Editor's Choice for the Best Bar in Manila.

Overall Penguin Cafe is known for there good music vibe and luxurious art decorations. Some star studded local musician has set there gig here.  So  If you wish to unwind or just to relax for your stressy work,  Penguin cafe is the best bar for you because the feel music  and the vibes  of this heck of a bar will give you relaxation. This is a type of place that just make you smile ;)
